Job Description

We're currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Innovation team on working brand-new products in Sportradar’s portfolio.
In the Innovation team we launch, develop, validate, and lead new product ideas using cutting-edge technologies in areas such as computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, data science, and beyond.

THE CHALLENGE:

●     Experiments with predictive models and improvements of the current approaches
●     Collecting, processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis
●     Leading the data-driven decision-making process, from data collection and analysis to implementation and monitoring of solutions
●     Managing data science projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time
●     Collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and objectives

YOUR PROFILE:

●     4+ years of professional experience in the development of ML products
●     Experience in one of the following fields: stock market analysis/high-frequency trading/sports events/generic forecasting
●     Good knowledge of Python, and experience with production-quality code
●     Experience with modern Gradient Boosting or Deep Learning based approaches for probability analysis
●     Experience in building predictive models using tabular data with complex feature engineering
●     Proven experience of end-to-end full software development life cycle from Proof of Concept to a reliable service running in the cloud or on the premise

Desirable:

●     Experience with the following libraries: XGBoost/CatBoost, PyTorch
●     Experience with MLOps tools: ClearML
●     Building & maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub actions).
●     Experience working with cloud services, data pipelines, and/or distributed ML (e.g. using Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
