Experience requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering; preferably computer science
• Minimum 15 years of development experience in BFSI Domain with a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise scale solutions
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Solution Architect role including Product Architect role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Origination or Business Unit Solution Architect's role
• Understanding of various architectures like Monolithic, Service oriented, Microservices
• Understanding of BFSI processes, regulations and compliance requirements like BASEL III, GDPR, KYC, AML, CCPA, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, PCI DSS, SEBI Regulations, IRDAI Guidelines, FATCA
• Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud-native solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and leads

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in alignment with company's or customer's strategic goals
• Architect e2e solutions for complex BFSI applications, including core banking, wealth management, insurance, and regulatory solutions
• Design robust, scalable and resilient architectures that meet performance, security and regulatory requirements
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers, providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the SDLC
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of the codebase
• Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and performance analysis to identify areas of improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams incuding product management, quality assurance and operations to deliver high quality software solutions within agreed timelines and budget
• Detailed project & implementation planning to be followed by team & extended stakeholders
• Coordination with all primary & extended stakeholders, understanding the progress & resolution of all practical issues.
• Stay updated about emerging technologies, industry trends and regulatory changes in the BFSI sector to assess and incorporate them into architectural design and solutions
• Ensure frictionless migration with zero impact on development & production environment
• High & Low level software/ system designing and implementation of development/ production environment
• Troubleshooting design level issues and implementation of solutions
• Maintenance of system with legacy technologies and achieving SLA as per changed business objectives
• Ensuring all compliance, security, legal requirements are taken care of in existing & proposed solutions.
• Implementation of Generative AI solutions in the existing software solution/ SDLC Pipeline
• Detailed project & implementation planning to be followed by team & extended stakeholders
• Track progress of various proposals/ programs across groups and publish periodical report on progress, effectiveness, and advantages.
• Participate in creation of RFP responses and any other project presentations and lead the presentations or meetings from technical perspective
• Participate in P&L creation for any RFP's to provide inputs on resource and non-resource costs
• Participate in any internal / external process / compliance audits and lead from technical perspective
• Create, review and maintain all required documentation from SDLC, process or compliance perspective with the help of development team
