Overview of the role:

We are on the lookout for a Senior Data Product Manager to join our innovative Data Science (DS) team. This is an opportunity to help propel PokerStars to leadership status with Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML).

As a key team member, you will work closely with partners to make AI relatable, and shape exciting products and initiatives which positively impact our players.

We have a hard-working Data Product team, and colleagues can work on variety of Data Products, although the initial focus for this role is on Data Science, AI & ML.

The role reports into the Head of Product Data and is based in Leeds. This role follows our hybrid approach to work – a mixture of office and home working.

Our Leeds office is at the heart of our business. The 8-storey building has an onsite staff gym and cafeteria, two heated rooftop terraces, a dedicated gaming room and a staircase amphitheatre. The space brings all our teams under one roof in the biggest private letting office in Yorkshire.

What you’ll do:

• Manage and grow the use of AI & ML at PokerStars

• Be an SME on applications of AI & ML and its impact within PokerStars

• Build and maintain strong and fruitful relationships with various collaborators

• Facilitate and own conversations re. priorities & roadmaps of the Data Science team

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI products into production

• Demo AI products and their potential to users regularly. Create a highly educated user base

• Maintain product documentation, ensuring assets are understood and used purposefully

• Advocate for strong governance practices as we build out our AI product estate

• Ensure we have a fit-for-purpose AI platform to meet current and future needs

What you’ll bring:

• You have worked as a Product Owner or Product Manager for several years, the last few of which have been in a senior capacity

• You have experience working with and delivering AI & ML products

• You are a self-starter. You are proactive, energetic, and motivated to contribute

• You are a problem solver, and can utilise a variety of business analysis techniques

• You have a delivery attitude, and a laser focus on landing results

• You are an effective communicator and can adapt your message to meet audience needs

• You can successfully handle a large, and demanding set of partners

• You find it easy to assimilate knowledge, and share this with others

• You can query complex data assets using SQL, Python, or similar

• You are confident in concepts of AI, ML, ML Ops and how they can solve business problems

• You have experience of DS tooling

• You have experience working in an agile organisation, and championing agile practices
