As the Business Intelligence manager at Our Home, you will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end execution of our Power BI enterprise reporting architecture from ETL through dashboard publication. You will be the subject matter expert for the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI pipeline and provide business users with enhancements to their reports and employ ad hoc analysis for solving problems across all areas within the business. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ETL pipeline in ADF from key source data systems through our data Lakehouse architecture ending at Power BI report publication and enhancements
  • Work cross functionally with business users from procurement, production, sales, finance, and other areas to provide actionable reporting insights using Power BI
  • Collaborate with 3rd party consulting teams where needed for large-scale business initiatives and continuously improve our enterprise reporting architecture by adding new data sources and combining insights from disparate systems
  • Adhere to Power BI and ADF best-practices when deploying new solutions to the business, always keeping in mind the balance between flexibility and scalability
  • Provide recommendations for better solution architecture and execute the desired path forward
  • Display eagerness to learn new skills and have a passion for teaching by distilling complex topics to digestible pieces of information for the business
  • Assist business with day-to-day inquiries such as tool troubleshooting, log-in support, and other administrative duties and be a key resource for training

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years’ experience within Microsoft Power BI and warehouse platforming tools such as Azure SQL Server, Fabric Lakehouses, etc.
  • Hands-on experience implementing complex Power BI reporting solutions and distribution to various stakeholders within a business environment
  • Strong ETL knowledge using SQL, Notebooks, and ADF tools such as Dataflow Gen2/Pipelines to move data between environments
  • Strong DAX and/or M knowledge for report creation
  • Power BI Service administration such as licenses, Workspaces, and Apps
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and time management
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel and Office suite of products
  • Passion for learning new skills and teaching
  • OAuth, TBA, Web Services, or other API knowledge preferred
  • Python experience a plus
  • IT architecture experience such as working with VMs, ODBC connections, or otherwise preferred
  • Experience in NetSuite ERP SuiteQL schema architecture or general NetSuite user experience in the Food & Beverage industry preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple unknowns
