Overview: 

In this role, you’ll spearhead the development of a comprehensive data strategy, optimizing database systems, and establishing data management processes. You'll use data to establish innovative, thoughtful, and cost-effective business intelligence strategies, formulating actionable recommendations and requirements for successful execution. Leveraging your data expertise, you’ll convert analytical insights into practical action items for enhancing business performance.

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze, build, and define data architecture framework.
  • Identify, analyze, and design business intelligence solutions to meet company needs.
  • Develop data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to facilitate data integration and transformation.
  • Utilizing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards from scratch, with a focus on financials, sales, and other key performance indicators.
  • Research and suggest data analytics tools and visualization platforms.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that can be used to inform business decisions.
  • Build queries, visualizations, and dashboards based on stakeholder-provided requirements.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate the insights and findings from the data to stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain documentation of data visualization processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • A degree in data analytics, computer science, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence position.
  • Expert level proficiency in SQL and database management, with a strong understanding of relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with data integration techniques and ETL processes
  • Expert level proficiency in business intelligence tools, data processing frameworks, and report writing.
  • A working understanding or mastery of automation, machine learning, and database management.
  • Comfort leveraging different technologies, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
  • Problem-solving mindset and big-picture view of information.
