The aim of Ferrovial Corporation is to design the Company's strategy, establishing global policies, guidelines and action guides related to the different functional areas of the Organization (Internal Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Innovation, etc.), which subsequently are developed and adapted to the specificities of each Business Unit. Additionally, it performs a function of providing corporate services to the different companies of the group, while consolidating its information.

 

Job Description:

Ferrovial Group is looking for a senior professional with proven experience in leading data products to join us in an amazing journey to transform our business units (airports, construction, toll roads, energy, water and others) in data-driven companies!

Functions:

Reporting to the Head of Data you will:

  • Be fully aligned with business leaders to understand their challenges and opportunities in terms of data.
  • Identify the business value that a new initiative can potentially bring to the business area.
  • Be up to date with market trends and data partners.
  • Design, propose and choose the best possible technical solutions to their data needs.
  • Be responsible and fully accountable for the execution of the data initiatives.
  • Apply our data security and quality policies to the data initiatives
  • Promote the use of standards and best practices.
  • Manage budget effectively
  • Communicate the value of data in the organization

To succeed in your role, what do we expect from you?

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading data initiatives and acting as Product Owner in a large company.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing different technical teams effectively
  • At least 2 years of experience being responsible for the budget activities associated to data products
  • Demonstrated experience understanding stakeholders needs and aligning different visons and interests.
  • Strong technical acumen in Azure cloud services is a MUST. Demonstrated experience leading data products / platforms with these components: Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Server and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience leading data products that require to collect data from different data sources (Excel, Sharepoint, SAP, CRM, APIs, files, IoT devices, etc.)
  • Experience having participated in data governance programs for a large company.
  • Skills to communicate to different levels in the organization the value generated with each initiative.
  • High level English (C2).
