Overview

Reporting to Senior Director, Data and AI platform Engineering, the data lead will own data readiness, including data conversion and migration from legacy applications into the new ERP application also called ‘project North Star’.  Drives strategy for data infrastructure, creates roadmaps to improve data structure, and coordinates data structure changes with the migration and cutover team. Responsible for work to clean, translate, and enhance data required for new processes and system cutover. Develops quality control systems and processes to ensure ongoing data integrity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead key data infrastructure decisions for project North Star, ensuring that platform infrastructure conforms to enterprise blueprints and privacy standards
• Design end to end analytical workflows, including overall infrastructure, capabilities, platforms, tools, and governing processes
• Review and correct project/program direction, approach and key artifacts to keep program on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years in an Analytic Architecture role designing technology architectures, detailed workflows, best practices and governance guidelines

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience working on huge ERP transformation initiatives.
• In depth knowledge of tools (including SAP utilities) used to convert and migrate/load into SAP S/4
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, integrated and operational analytical solution
• Understanding of data products, publishing and architectural alternatives, covering specifics such as performance tuning and governance requirements 

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to switch gears from summary view for leadership to hands-on dialogue with Data Engineers and Data Analysts.
• Proactive mindset towards driving data architecture choices that enable business-wide usage of data and data products

Physical Demands

•    Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
•    Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
•    May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
