Sr. Devops Engineer (Azure + AI) - LATAM

Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for an experienced Azure DevOps / Operations Specialist to fortify our team. This role is pivotal, requiring you to leverage your deep expertise in managing, optimizing, and securing Azure cloud infrastructures for both our internal operations and our enterprise-level clients. Additionally, experience with Azure AI technologies will be a significant asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Azure cloud environments, ensuring security, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Utilize Azure services such as Azure Entra, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Virtual Machines, SharePoint Online, and more to support our infrastructure.
• Apply and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools to ensure optimal application reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement infrastructure requirements.
• Provide expertise in Azure AI technologies, including Azure AI Studio, AI Search, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio, to enhance our AI capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with major security and privacy standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST).
• Document infrastructure processes, policies, and procedures to maintain clear and up-to-date records.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in managing Azure cloud environments with a strong focus on security and compliance.
• Solid understanding and experience with Azure services such as Azure Entra, App Services, Cosmos DB, Azure Virtual Machines, SharePoint Online, and more.
• Experience with Azure AI technologies including Azure AI Studio, AI Search, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio.
• Expertise in applying CI/CD pipelines and practices.
• Proven experience in setting up and managing monitoring tools for application reliability and performance.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in distributed cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of major security and privacy standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST).
• Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools.
