About the Job:  

As a Data Analyst, you will join our technology team and play a vital role in delivering data-focused solutions to our clients. You will be proficient in analysing data, developing data models, and using industry-standard data analysis tools. You’ll work with our clients and internal teams to define data analysis standards, practices, and common data models. You’ll play a key part in driving the Technology and Data practice forward, providing thought leadership and support to others. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Analysis of complex data sets to identify tends, patterns, and insights. 
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models from business processes. 
  • Conduct business workshops to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
  • Define and implement data analysis standards, practices, and common data models including data lineage, data ownership, and stewardship.  
  • Use industry-standard data analysis tools to create visual representations of data. 
  • Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of data solutions.  
  • Provide thought leadership and support in data analysis. 
  • Understanding of big data and data lake concepts, management of data life cycle, GDPR, ISO, FIHR 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analysis with a strong understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. 
  • Ability to define analysis standards, practices, and common data models. 
  • Proficiency in RDMBS architectures and the ability to synthesise complex data problems into logical models and physical solutions. 
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks). 
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc) 
  • Capability to conduct business workshops and gather requirements. 
  • Excellent data visualization skills with the ability to represent complex ideas graphically. 
  • Experience in developing data models and data workflows, particularly in the finance sector. 
  • Familiarity with a variety of data analysis approaches, tools, and model repositories.  
  • Demonstrate the skills of python, pyspark, and MLOps , cognitive analysis 

Desirable Requirements: 

  • Experience working with a technology consultancy.  
  • Strong knowledge of metadata management and related tools. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Microsoft Certified - Azure Data Fundamentals or similar 
  • Adept at report writing and presenting findings. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.  
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerBi, Synapse, Tableau, BOXi, Erwin, Purview. 
  • Experience working in the public sector.
