Data Analyst in Danske Bank Group Internal Audit

GIA is dedicated to staying relevant and delivering valuable assurance and insights. In this context, your role will be instrumental. You will provide guidance and coaching to enable the core audit team to perform data extractions and analyses independently. Thereto, you will assist colleagues with complex data extractions and analyses, create data visualizations, and support GIA's goal of being a leading, proactive, and inspiring audit function.

Responsibilities

You'll be part of a dynamic team of five, with a shared responsibility to enable the wider internal audit function to deliver high quality audit assurance and insights based on data. Further, in addition to data extraction and visualisation, you will explore how best to use data analytics tools such as process- and text mining and AI in audits, as well as build bridges between the Data Analytics team and key stakeholder based on communication, knowledge sharing and coaching. 

Your tasks will include:

  • Coach and guide colleagues on how to best do data analytics and extractions on audit assignments.
  • Independently provide data analyses, extractions and visualisations. 
  • Development of data dashboards used for recurring purposes. 
  • Participate in training of GIA colleagues.
    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience with data analytics, preferably with knowledge of the Danske Bank data structure.

Your Skillset

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience with process- and text mining. 
  • Experience with communication and influencing skills is an advantage but not required.
  • Experience with AI is an advantage but not required.
  • Experience within audit is an advantage but not required.
