Role Description

We are looking for a new colleague to take a position of Data Analyst in Data Science Team (Risk Department) to support all areas of DataOps - delivery of regular and ad-hoc data reporting; dashboarding and analysis. You can create self-service reports for business users using common BI tools and you are excited about developing robust automated solutions and data products whenever possible to make data deliveries quicker and more reliable.


Your future challenges:

  • Developing and maintaining scalable solutions to automate the execution and delivery of regular data requests.
  • Creating, maintaining, and owning reports and dashboards for monitoring KPIs across relevant domains.
  • Optimizing existing reporting & dashboarding solutions and identifying process improvement opportunities to promote sustainable operations.
  • Modelling and restructuring data to support reporting and analytical needs.
  • Improving existing data models by refactoring and expanding to suit business needs.
  • Actively participating in data governance initiatives to promote best practices in data management.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, ability to write complex queries - must have.
  • Proficiency with Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot, etc.) - must have.
  • Good understanding of a Scripting language such as Python, R, Javascript, etc. - must have.
  • Knowledge of a BI visualization tool such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc. - must have.
  • English - at least B2 level.
  • A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a STEM related study program.
  • Ability to wrangle data from multiple different sources.
  • Experience with Version control (Git).
  • Experience with ELT/ETL.
  • Experience with Data Modelling.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, etc.).
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools an advantage.
