Key Roles / Responsibilities
The Role
We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team as a Fabric and Power BI Data Analyst with BI Developer capabilities. This role involves due diligence, requirement gathering and creating dashboards for the development and enhancement of business intelligence solutions.
Responsibilities:
Fabric and Business Intelligence Development:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
Create data models, transformations, and data visualizations to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.
Integration and Automation:
Integrate Power BI with various data sources and systems.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability for reporting.
Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Documentation and Training:
Document configurations, processes, and best practices for fabric and Power BI administration.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams to enhance their Power BI proficiency.

The position requires :
Technical Skills:
Development Capabilities:
Knowledge of Power BI development tools and languages, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Experience in integrating Power BI reporting seamlessly into applications.
Programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, or PowerShell for Fabric application development – Nice to have
Ability to contribute to the coding, testing, and debugging of Fabric applications – Nice to have
Cloud Platforms:
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, for both Fabric and Power BI.
Understanding of cloud-based services and how they relate to application hosting and data storage.
Familiarity with Azure Blobs
Data Modeling and Analysis:
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts for both Power BI and Fabric.
Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets for meaningful insights.
Performance Optimization:
Skills in identifying and implementing performance improvements for Fabric applications and Power BI reports.
Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and optimizing resource utilization.
Soft Skills:
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills to address issues related to both Fabric and Power BI effectively.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users.
Documentation:
Ability to document configurations, processes, and best practices for Fabric and Power BI.
Training:
Capability to provide training and support to end-users and other team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Power BI Certified Data Analyst Associate Certification Preferred.
Familiarity with other BI tools and reporting solutions.
Knowledge of PowerShell.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization concepts.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrable experience piloting and driving new technologies
Demonstrable experience working with continuous integration principals and technologies
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile preferred)
