Data Architect -Microsoft Azure (AU IT, Home-based) Contractual

Salary: P120,000 to P160,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM AEST)

This position is available on a 1-year contract basis.

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect with a focus on Microsoft data and analytical technologies.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modelling, and data management best practices.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing data solutions using Microsoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks)
• Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
• Understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools

What will you do?

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance data architectures using Microsoft data and analytical technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Implement data integration, warehousing, and analytics solutions using Microsoft technologies.
• Develop and maintain data models, dictionaries, and governance policies for data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to deliver comprehensive data solutions.
• Ensure secure, private, and compliant data architectures in line with industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data architects and engineers.
