We are seeking a Data Analyst within our Real World Evidence team, which serves our clients by supporting real world evidence generation and applications to address key business needs across the brand lifecycle from discovery trough brand maturation.

Your Role:

This opportunity is to join a newly formed Real World Evidence (RWE) team which is tasked with developing innovative offerings for Life Sciences clients to access real world data and tech-enabled solutions to further evidence generation and decision making. The RWE team sits alongside other practice areas within Lumanity to support the overall growth of the organization and extending our capabilities and offerings using RWD in multiple consulting capacities including Health Economics and Outcomes Research. We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with the enthusiasm, vision and flexibility in approach required to play a key and influential role within the RWE team. The right candidate will be responsible for developing precise analyses and reports to support the RWE business, and be able/willing to contribute to the growth and evolution of the RWE team internally and externally.

In your role as a Data Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and associated client facing work product

· Develop and implement organized data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies and reusable methods that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

· Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases, data records and associated data systems

· Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

· Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct statistical code problems

· Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

· Locate and define new process and method improvement opportunities

The role can be tailored to an individual candidate’s strengths and aspirations, but will include a mix of roles and responsibilities, including strategic input and oversight of technical content on both client and internal research and development projects, collaboration internally and externally with experts in specific fields, programming, technical writing, quality control, mentoring, training, and for the suitable candidate, there will be line management opportunities.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled practitioner with a strategic mindset and the desire to grow into a key influential role within our Real World Evidence team. The ideal candidate will ideally have:

· Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

· Ideally have experience working with life sciences and healthcare data, including an understanding of associated data privacy work and data management practices

· Technical expertise regarding data models, statistical software use and design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

· Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (Python, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)

· Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, R, etc)

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

· Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

· BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Strong project management skills

· Strong multitasking skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to work independently
