About the Role:

The Reconciliation Insights and Analytics team builds critical financial products and tools that ensure the accuracy and completeness of our financial data. We focus on analyzing and detecting data discrepancies, reducing losses, improving customer experience, and delivering business insight. Our data supports data consumers like Accounting, Treasury, Finance, and Customer Success.

If you love driving critical thinking and insight into challenging, unstructured problems and working with leaders in the organization to bring those insights into action, this role is for you.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for doing extensive analysis and management of reconciliation data. The quantitative insights you bring will have an out-sized impact on the business. You will work closely with program managers, other analysts, engineers, and customer and partner specialists. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Insights & Analytics.

This role can be located in our Seattle, WA office or remote from anywhere in the USA.

You Will:

• Apply statistical and programming skills to convert raw data into insights that enhances reporting, dashboards and metrics that drive and optimize operations and product actions
• Creating and maintaining reports, ad hoc reporting, visualizations, and tools; developing key insights for almost all teams at the organization including leadership
• Identify opportunities for automation of reporting and business processes; and support associated solution design and implementation of tools & technology

You Have:

• Biased for action: willing to build the first prototype, and continuously improve based on learnings.
• Have a bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or related field).
• Experience with data visualization and related tools (e.g., Tableau, Periscope).
• 2+ years of experience building reports and models (e.g., SQL, spreadsheet modeling, R, Python).
• Knowledge in ETL tools (like Amazon S3 and Redshift)
• Experience in analyzing large volumes of data.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with a passion for problem-solving.
• Possess a natural curiosity to dive into the details and have a strong analytical mindset.
