We are seeking a Data Engineer who will be joining our dynamic Data Analytics team, a critical division within CloudLinux.

This team is instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive our strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies. We are building the team from scratch so you will have a unique opportunity to apply best practices within the organization. The Data Analytics team is the backbone of CloudLinux’s data strategy, ensuring that we have the right data, at the right time, to make informed decisions.

As a Data Engineer, your role will be crucial in enhancing our data infrastructure, implementing data pipelines, and enabling seamless data integration. Your data engineering responsibilities encompass designing, building, installing, and maintaining systems to ensure seamless data flow, availability, and reliability.

As our Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics, and business intelligence (BI) systems;
  • Re-engineering manual data flows to enable scaling and repeatable use;
  • Writing ETL (extract, transform, load) scripts and coding to ensure the ETL process performs optimally;
  • Building accessible data for analysis;
  • Collaborating with data analysts to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets;
  • Monitoring data infrastructure for performance and reliability to address issues promptly;
  • Continuously optimizing data architecture to support the company's evolving data needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer;
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Scala;
  • Proficiency in data modeling, database management, data warehousing concepts;
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka);
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud);
  • Proficiency in cloud warehouse technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks);
  • Experience with ClickHouse is a plus;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
