Job Title: Data Analyst
Schedule: Monday to Friday at 9AM - 5PM PST
Salary Range: $1,000-1,400
Benefits: 2 weeks PTO and sick leave

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Looker dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Design and implement LookML models to create reusable and scalable data models in Looker.
• Automate and replace Excel processes using SQL and dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from various data sources.
• Create and manage data visualizations that effectively communicate insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Perform data validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Utilize SQL for data manipulation, including joins, case statements, and subqueries, to support reporting and analysis needs.

Requirements

• With atleast 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Looker, and LookML (required)
• Bonus experience/proficiency: dbt, Shopify, Segment, Snowflake
• Experience with other database management systems.
• Experience with data modeling and building scalable data models in Looker using LookML.
• Proficiency in automating processes and replacing Excel-based workflows using SQL and dbt.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate reports and insights.
• Familiarity with data validation techniques and best practices.
