NLP Engineer - Native Russian

We are growing our NLP engineering team for several languages to work on a cutting-edge Personal Voice Assistant software used by millions of users worldwide, with one of our major clients. We are looking for someone with native knowledge of Russian (from Russia).

In this role you will develop Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing code to help expand and adapt the software to your native language, so the ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals combined with a love for language to help them go a step beyond in human-machine interaction.

About your day-to-day:

• Develop natural language processing code specific to your language.
• Provide input and suggestions towards innovating new approaches and new product features tailored to your home market.
• Work with large amounts of data to help creating and improving lexical data.
• Ensure transversal and continuous communication with the team and the client

Requirements

This is for you if you have:

• Native fluency in Russian and relevant and up-to-day contact with cultural nuances
• Working proficiency in English
• Relevant experience in NLP, Machine Learning or related fields such as Data Engineering
• Ability to leverage the power of large amounts of data to solve complex NLP and machine learning problems.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java/Python/C++/Objective-C and shell scripting
• Good linguistic comprehension and knowledge of the structural aspects of the desired language.
• Experience with GIT or other version control systems.
• Good organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to think outside of the box and strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills
• An academic background (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Data Analytics, related fields, or equivalent experience.
