Position Summary:

We are looking for a person with some Software Licencing knowledge, to join our team, that build, maintain, and support our Software Asset Management Products.

As we maintain and write new software functionality, this person will be able to assist in the rules associated with Software licensing. Guiding the development team and Product Manager in making the correct decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating the content of the Software and SKU Libraries, maintaining SLA and keeping the content relevant to today’s software usage.
  • Following maintenance processes and procedures, as determined by the Team and stakeholders
  • Researching software details, usage rights and general licensing know-how, for inclusion within the Libraries:
    • Publishers, Products, Editions, Versions
    • Suites and bundles (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite)
    • Licensing paths (e.g. Downgrades, Upgrades, Maintenance)
    • Licensing metrics (e.g. Per Install, Per Core, User, CAL)
    • Release dates, End of Support dates
    • SKUs and pricing
    • Categorisation (e.g. UNSPSC)
  • Assist Product Mangers and development teams in Licencing functionality.
  • Assist the Team with making Customers successful at using and gaining value from our products.
  • Keep on top of the ever-changing rules associated with vendors licensing.

Required Experience:

  • Software licencing experience with Microsoft, Adobe and VMware would be an advantage.
  • Has previously worked in an agile environment
  • Handling large datasets and analysing the content

  • Excellent written & verbal communication
  • Good Excel knowledge
  • Some SQL knowledge to help with modifying & running scripts
