PRIMARY PURPOSE:

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Data Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data landscape. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data architectures on the Microsoft Azure platform, with a focus on big data solutions.

• Lead the definition and implementation of our enterprise data architecture, leveraging Azure data services like Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and implement data models, pipelines, and integration processes to ensure efficient and secure data movement across the organization.
• Champion best practices in data governance, quality, and security.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the big data space, and evaluate their potential for improving our data architecture.
• Mentor and guide junior data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ Years of Prior Relevant  Experience
• Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and methodologies.

• Bachelor's Degree
