Media.Monks is on a hunt for a seasoned Sr. Data & insight Analyst and Manager to join our team!

We are looking for a highly skilled person that not only is able to report  the data, but also able to connect the dots, and come up with clear client-friendly narratives of issues, analysis, opportunities, and hypotheses that align with our client’s strategy and business objectives.

Our Sr. Data & insight Analyst and Manager will be responsible for uncovering insights and planning and implementing learning programs for a single dedicated client, monitoring trends and audiences' behaviors, and finding ways to enhance the general consumer.

Now, about the opportunity: In the Sr. Data & Insight Analyst and Manager position, you'll be bi-lingual (English and Spanish), confident and experienced at leading and driving conversations with client. You’ll analyze and report on the performance of the social strategy of our client. This is a role where you’ll partner with the creative, content and strategy teams. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Work with distributed teams in multiple time zones.
  • Create and put in place methodologies to interpret people's digital signals, identify their behaviors and interests
  • Develop measurement strategies and accompany his/her team to implement them properly and in coordination with the agency's creative and strategic teams.
  • Provide your expertise across different campaigns: measurement & analytics of both organic and paid campaigns, measurements/analytics of influencers, channel optimization, and reporting;
  • Working across the multiple client channels to provide the best delivery and results in various campaigns;
  • Develop data strategies and roadmaps to propel client marketing activities forward.
  • Measurement/analytics of campaigns: constantly providing insights to the internal teams and clients based on data;
  • Collaborate with organic social and other paid media account leads to ensure strategies are aligned across all channels
  • Stay up to date with the latest Social Media and Data best practices and technologies.
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Facebook Business Suite, Brandwatch, Hootsuite, Socialbakers/Emplify, Sprinklr among others.
  • Conduct extensive audience, and platform research to help inform Paid Social strategies for our clients
  • Process, analyze and understand conversations in digital channels to identify key insights or brand opportunities.
  • Experience in monitoring digital and social crises.
  • Weekly and monthly data/intelligence reviews with project teams on campaign and influencer performance with strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
  • Translate strategic recommendations concerning digital experiences into actionable items.
  • Collaborate in brainstorming sessions with Strategy and Creative teams to optimize the platform in terms of content, messages, formats and duration, based on the insights and learnings that have emerged from the reports.
  • Work with seasoned strategists, creatives and planners to develop trends reports, brand health trackers and audience profiles.
  • Enhance the data understanding of other departments of the agency.

Requirements

  • 6+ years’ operating in a Data Strategy (Data Planning) function within a digital or research agency environment.
  • Advanced English (Business level)  required (direct contact with international clients)
  • Strong affinity in processing, analyzing and understanding conversations in digital channels to identify key insights or brand opportunities.
  • Understanding and mastering of digital metrics.
  • Analysis of digital and social platforms.
  • Experience in monitoring digital and social trends.
  • Experience in working with strategy and content teams.
  • Experience in using data visualization tools.
  • Presentation, communication and research skills.
  • Excellent English spelling, writing and mastery of writing rules, syntax.
  • Experience working with Campaign Operations teams using Adobe Campaign or similar.
  • Website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe SiteCatalyst)
  • Social analytics tools (e.g., Sysomos, Radian 6, Emplify, Hootsuite, Brandwatch)
  • Data visualization tools (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau, Data Studio)
  • Required work experience: at least 2 years supporting creative strategy in a client-facing role
  • Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibilities
  • Comfortable managing client communication without requiring involvement from an account manager
  • An understanding of Database languages and underlying technologies (desired)
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets preferred)
