Support Data Analyst

Global Nielsen Media fuels the media industry with unbiased, reliable data about what people watch and listen to. At the core of our data is our Field & Call Center associates, who connect and build personal relationships with consumers to collect data on TV, Radio, and Digital Device consumption.
ABOUT THE ROLE The successful applicant will be working in the main Manila office to provide support to the Statistical Operations Team in checking , analyzing data collected from our panels,  prepare and send reports to clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze the collected data using statistical techniques.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure zero quality escape.
• Prepare and send reports to internal and external clients with the set data levels and measurements.
• Preparing and processing data in a timely and quality-driven manner

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Preferred Bachelor's degree related to BS Statistics, BS Mathematics, BS Computer, Information Technology, etc.
• Minimum 1 year of related work in processing, data analysis or Quality Check (QC).
• Preferrable background from Media Industries, Market Research or IT.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to APPLY
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS, Python, etc)
• Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail.
• Experience in working on a large amount of data
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
• Good organisational skills & the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Confidence in liaising with internal stakeholders
• Interest in data analytics
• Outside of the box, solution-focused thinking
• A ‘can-do attitude
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, within a global company.
• This is an office-based role. Our office is located in Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines.
