Job Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements, gather and analyze data, interpret results and findings, and recommend solutions through analysis, modeling, and visualizations
  • Develop and evolve processes and analytic approaches to improve team capabilities; contribute to team strategic road map and priorities
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with analytic, business, reporting, and data teams; serve as a subject matter expert related to relevant tools, data stores, and business products and services
  • Maintain awareness of key CCB initiatives, issues, trends and changes impacting consumers and Chase
  • Adhere to firmwide and team documentation and control standards
  • Perform with limited direction, manage project work and timelines of varying complexity, perform analysis, create reports, and communicate insights as demonstrated in prior roles.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and skills:

  • 2 years of practical analytic experience that includes: requirements gathering, analysis/experiment design, execution, assessment, authoring, and publishing of results
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency with analytic tools, data analysis methodologies (both descriptive and predictive), and database querying
  • Data wrangling expertise with one or more commonly used firmwide tools
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and abilities analyzing vast amounts of data into meaningful observations and insights
  • Strong written communication, and presentation skills
  • Current user of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL or related tools with experience in data mining, descriptive and predictive statistics, and principles of data visualization
  • Life-long focus on learning with a strong aptitude for technical subjects, new approaches and methods, and staying current

 Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Math, Engineering, or technical field with prior experience analyzing structured and unstructured consumer data
  • Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint; strong presentation skills with experience converting complex analysis into effective presentation for mixed audiences
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow.
