Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer at ChangeEngine, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data pipelines that support our analytics and product development efforts. This senior-level position requires extensive experience in data engineering, a strong background in B2B SaaS environments, and familiarity with the challenges of early-stage and scale-up companies. You will play a critical role in selecting the right tools and technologies to ensure our data ecosystem is scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support various data needs across the organization.

  • Select and implement the best tools and technologies for data processing, storage, and analytics.

  • Collaborate with the wider engineering and product team to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data pipelines.

  • Proven experience in a senior-level role within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services.

  • Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL.

  • Experience in early-stage and scale-up environments is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
