Business Intelligence Analyst

Who You Are:The ideal candidate will assist with the evolution and execution of the BI strategy for Global Services, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.  This role requires expertise in BI tools and data visualization, handling raw, unstructured data and transforming it into actionable insights to help business partners make informed decisions. You know how to identify the information needs of the business and develop creative solutions using custom dashboards and reports. This role will have some overlap with US hours but will work independently for most of their day, providing global coverage for our stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing:Reporting:Take abstract business goals and design metrics to quantify themBuild fully automated Tableau dashboardsImplement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics across multiple business functionsCreate cutting-edge data visualizations with simple and intuitive UIArchitect a scalable reporting infrastructure, ensuring rigorous quality assurance and thorough testing of your solutions
Project management:Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement reporting objectivesTake proactive initiative and full accountability for work and deliverablesAsk inquisitive questions to develop project requirementsSolicit constant feedback in the development processNegotiate, communicate, and keep deadlinesWork on an agile team with weekly sprint retrospective and planning meetings 
Influencing business:Collaborate with business leaders to optimize operations through data-driven insights while taking a proactive, curious approach to questioning the status quoHelp our systems and processes work together to generate clean data and deliver a great user experienceTrain stakeholders to leverage our reporting
Required:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a quantitative discipline like mathematics, MIS, engineering, or computer science3+ years in a business analyst, data analyst, data science, engineering, or related roleBusiness acumenSQL proficiency and familiarity with relational databases1-3+ years experience creating dashboards and reports with a data visualization tool (advanced Tableau skills strongly preferred)Knowledgeable with Google Sheets and the Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skills (in English); able to convey complex information to a non-technical audience as well as actively listen to stakeholdersComfortable collaborating with end-users and excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred:Experience with Tableau Prep, Salesforce, Snowflake, JIRA, and ConfluenceProficiency in PythonFamiliarity with statistical modeling, design thinking, agile, and/or machine learningProject management experience and/or certificationsOperations experience in a SaaS company#LI-Hybrid#LI-CK1
