Tasks

• Design and implement efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory
• Develop and maintain data models and databases in Azure SQL Database or Azure Cosmos DB
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Monitor and troubleshoot data processing and integration workflows to ensure data quality and reliability

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a data engineering;
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field;
• Experience working with the following stack: Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL Server, Event Hubs, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, Data Factory and Databricks;
• Experience working with Python, Spark and SQL;
• Experience working ETL, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies;
• Experience with Azure Databricks with Delta Live Tables;
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in a team-based environment;
• Experience with data modelling and schema design;
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Plus:

• Experience with bicep (or experience with other IaC scripting as Terraform);
• Microsoft Fabric Certificated
