Data Analyst - (Menu Optimisation)
Data has been at the heart of Gousto from the start!
Our Analysts are embedded into business functions and work closely with stakeholders to provide insight on customers, operations and processes to support decision-making, report on historic performance as well as shape future roadmaps.
This role will be within our Choice Tribe supporting the Optimise Menu domain. The Choice Tribe works together to serve up menus with variety that our customers will love while also ensuring our network is optimised to fulfil this demand efficiently. The Optimise Menu domain lies at the heart of this tribe creating exciting menus every week using our huge recipe library.
As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Product Manager, Data Scientists, Menu planning team and Software Engineering to provide insights on what optimal menus look like, scoping out new initiatives and experimentation as we launch these initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will be motivated by striving to solve complex problems, working closely with stakeholders and championing data-driven decision making.
You have strong analytical skills, great judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to getting to the answer. You have a strong grasp of analytical reporting and can use your skills to tell a compelling story which you effectively communicate to peers. You are curious and proactive, passionate about data-driven decision making, and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
Who you are/Experience Required:
- Previous experience within an analytics role
- Proven experience of delivering insights and value through data-driven decisions
- Experience managing cross functional stakeholders
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills
- Excellent SQL skills
- Analytical horsepower: you can fetch the data you need, understand it and tell an airtight story around it
Nice to haves:
- Experience working in e-commerce or subscription businesses
- Experience in Python
- Experience with experimentation
