A bit about the role & team:
IDEA Desktop is one of the products developed by the Data Analytics team. IDEA Desktop is a tool that allows auditors to import data from a variety of sources, clean the data, perform a variety of analytic tasks against that data, and finally produce charts and reports that they can share with their clients. This product is supported by a group of around 18 talented individuals working in Development, Design, User Experience, and Product. 
Technology Stack: C++ (MFC, COM), C# (WinForms, WPF), PowerShell, SQLite, MSI

What you will be doing:

• You will be a full member of an Agile team responsible for designing and building new features, fixing bugs, creating automated unit tests, and maintaining a deployment pipeline
• You will work within the following technology stacks all used in IDEA Desktop and its pipelines:
C++C# .NET:WinForms, WPFWindows PowerShell
• You will gain exposure to modern software development techniques including automated unit testing, code reviews, 3-tiered architecture, and Agile development.
• You will interact with other developers, QA specialists, and product owners

What you will bring [Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required]:

• Solid understanding of C#, or C++
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts
• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Experience with relational databases

What you will bring [Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities]:

• Shareable code repository demonstrating best practices of software development including commit history, branch strategies, and testing
• Strong programming aptitude, as demonstrated by high achievement in Computer Science courses
• Experience with Windows PowerShell

Education:

• Working towards a B.Sc./B.Eng. in Computer Science or Software Engineering
