Data Analyst - Analytics Engineering

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst with a focus on data modelling and analytics engineering to join our Data Centre of Excellence. As the central data team, we support ongoing growth in analytics across our global company. 

We are centred in ICT with strong connections across the organisation, putting us in a unique position to deliver business impact through analytics.  

The Role 

In this role, you will help create and maintain data assets and pipelines that supply some of our most critical reports. You will identify opportunities to deliver data to a broad range of business customers as efficiently and elegantly as possible.  

Our Team 

We are Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's central data and analytics team. Our rapidly growing team serves as our organisation's Data Centre of Excellence.  

We provide guidance, training, and support to stakeholders around the business. We also build critical data solutions for the organisation that are scalable and secure with the goal of enabling managed self-service BI.

• You love championing best practices – seeing the impact they have on both your technical deliverables as well as the experience of your end users. 

• You bring a sense of humour to your work. 

Skills and Experience 

• Experience working with an enterprise data and reporting platform. Microsoft Power BI experience preferred. 

• Experience working in a large organisation preferred, especially in an enterprise data role. 

• Experience building relational data models. 

• Experience with a coding language. DAX, SQL, JSON and Python experience preferred. 

• Tertiary qualification or similar in a technical discipline.
