Senior Data Analyst

The Knix Data team is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our organization to help unlock insights that take our business to the next level. You will build business performance dashboards, socialize learnings and recommended growth opportunities.  You will partner with key stakeholders to dive deep into the business challenges and identify insights that will drive product and program strategy. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, as well as outstanding business acumen.

The Opporunity

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of sales, marketing, and customer data to uncover meaningful trends, untapped opportunities, and areas for optimization.
• Lead collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements aligned with business objectives.
• Employ advanced SQL techniques to extract, manipulate, and dissect data from diverse sources including databases and data warehouses.
• Spearhead the creation and maintenance of sophisticated dashboards on Looker, emphasizing the visualization of key performance indicators crucial for business growth.
• Remain abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices in data analysis and visualization, incorporating relevant methodologies into our analytics framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years in e-commerce and retail data analysis, showcasing a track record of delivering actionable insights.
• 5+ years of SQL experience, adept at handling complex datasets with ease.
• Proven expertise in building comprehensive dashboards and visualizations on Looker or analogous BI platforms, prioritizing clarity and strategic relevance.
• Knowledge in Python is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and rigor in analysis.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, adept at distilling complex insights into clear, compelling narratives.
