Job Description

Our Customer is a leading global provider of cutting-edge payments technology solutions, dedicated to shaping the future of financial transactions worldwide. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we connect consumers, businesses, financial institutions, and governments in over 200 countries and territories through our advanced processing networks.

This role requires a specialization in data engineering, covering analysis, data mapping, setup, data connection, crafting efficient data solutions to optimize data-driven decision-making processes within the organization, automation, quality assurance, documentation, and support for user dashboard updates. This also involves working closely with different teams across Europe, and the FBL clusters; and being flexible to facilitate cross-region team development/collaboration and address urgent production issues.

Deliverables:

• Define the KPIs
• Create Data Mapping
• Data architecture and Data Model design
• Set up data pipelines / job to provide data for various initiatives
• Perform UAT
• Deploy to Production (Job, scripts, BI dashboards)
• Automate the jobs.
• Create documentation and provide support

This is a hybrid work opportunity, requiring attendance at the customer's office in Warsaw twice a week for team relationship-building purposes.

Due to the nature of our work in the financial market, candidates will be subject to detailed background screening including education, employment history, and criminal record.

Qualifications

• MS degree in data science or other related fields with a minimum 6 years of experience in data engineering and consulting services.
• Solid knowledge in database and related technologies
• Good knowledge Hadoop Data Warehouse and Oracle
• Power BI
• Micro strategy
• Tableau 
• In-depth knowledge of automation jobs such as Control-M
