This role is part of our Gas Technology Services business, which provides advanced aftermarket support and uptime availability in critical industrial environments through every stage of our customers’ equipment and plant lifecycle within energy sector.

Our Gas Services Operational Excellence & Risk team is looking for Spare Parts Data Scientist to join the Asset lifecycle and Maintenance Spares.

Our technical engineering team manages life cycle of a unit, such as upgrades, obsolescence management. Critical to commercial operations & quotations, you will be working on the Spare Parts database. This role involves interaction with multiple function such as Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams.

You will be design & deploy digital initiatives which will lead to reduced cycle time, higher efficiency and productivity, leading to lower costs and increased capacity.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying innovative solutions to drive productivity and business growth on spare parts business within the Gas Services mission.
• Developing digital applications within assigned projects on spare parts, understanding the business needs and context
• Adopt the state-of-the-art methodologies, included Artificial Intelligence (specifically Robotic Process Automation and Natural Language Processing).
• Performing deep and proactive data analytics, exploration and reporting to executive levels, supporting business strategic decisions
• Partner with Leaders to increase customer competitiveness of the quotation and loopback technical and quality improvements into the Asset.
• Partner with Digital Technology, Engineering and other internal teams to achieve Product life management changes and targets.

Fuel your passion
 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a STEM Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Have demonstrated coding development in Microsoft Power Platform such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Share Point) or similar platforms.

• Have experience coding in Python language with execution of complex technical projects.
• Demonstrated experience within electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or similar preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, awareness and experience in Machine Learning applications and/or full stack developing preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication, team collaboration and influencing skills, with ability to work with high number of stakeholders.
