Providence Health Plan is calling a Healthcare Data Analyst who will:

  • Provide general support
  • Perform complex analyses related to healthcare quality measurement
  • Provide accurate and timely results
  • Be resourceful and creative in developing solutions for specific business needs
  • Program standardized quality metrics for regulatory reporting requirements using SQL
  • Research and organize healthcare claims and clinical data from multiple sources
  • Maintain robust documentation of routine processes, report parameters, and decisions
  • Develop a contextual understanding of various healthcare quality metrics
  • Summarize findings for multi-department leadership, and present data in a concise and compelling way
  • Meet with internal business partners to collaborate on project details, considerations, and potential solutions
  • Assess and make recommendations to internal and external stakeholders regarding healthcare quality measurement
  • Continually strive to strengthen analytical competencies
  • Collaborate with other members of the quality analytics team in peer review, sharing learnings, and establishing best practices

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Highly quantitative field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Healthcare organization/health insurer experience
  • Statistical modeling experience
  • Healthcare Data experience
  • SQL, Excel and Tableau experience

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
