Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Machine Learning Model Operations Product Architect who works closely with product owners and product teams in the definition of roadmap and technical architecture for a product according to business strategies and enterprise architecture framework. This position will partner with product owner and product team in delivering Machine Learning Model deployment capabilities including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and Machine Learning model observability capabilities in cloud. The role involves 60% architecture work and 40% hands-on development of core new capabilities, front-running architecture, and development for the Model Operations team. Primarily this product team will focus on enhancing and enabling the machine learning model deployment and machine learning model monitoring and observability platform for traditional AI/machine learning and Gen AI platform.

The Machine Learning Model Operations Product Architect will provide expert level IT architecture and technical lead services, including the direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of new and existing technologies. The Product Architect owns the architectural and design decisions for the team and this role is the visionary force behind the technical solutions for business problems.

What It Takes

• Owns the ongoing product technical roadmaps, architecture, and design in alignment with business strategies and objectives.
• Conducts hands-on development work - front-running capability development, developing prototypes, resolving issues, carrying out experiments and evaluations.
• Collaborates with the broader architecture community to ensure that their products align with target architectures and technology roadmaps and provides input on required platform capabilities and improving development tools/processes.
• Works with other product teams, technology experts, and business stakeholders to provide functional support.
• Assists in the evaluation of vendors and products and participates in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams.
• Acts as highest-level technical expert, resolving issues, assessing any potential risks, and identifying solutions.
• Provides technical guidance to product team(s) as appropriate.
• Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.
• Conducts hands-on development/coding when needed based on Product needs.
• Assists in the development of and management of architecture governance processes
• Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of recent technologies.
• Prepares and presents product-related documentation.
• Mentors less experienced crew members/developers and contributes to overall development of the organization.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least three years of technology architect or technical lead experience.
• Strong experience with AWS and Cloud Infrastructure and continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) development
• Strong experience architecting solutions in AWS
• Strong python experience.
• Experience breaking down large architecture features/epics into technical stories for execution.
• Experience researching future technologies, conducting proof of concepts and ability to influence internal and external stakeholder to drive future technology direction.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
