About Business Line

  RTP(Risk Technology Platform) team serves the SSGA Risk Business, SSGA Senior Business by providing Aggregated enterprise Risk monitoring covering all the Risk verticals(Investment Risk, Counterparty Risk, Liquidity Risk, Operational Risk) and asset classes(EQ,FI,ISG,FX,CASH,Alternatives).

• Software Development:
  • Demonstrate full stack expertise and architectural understanding to create robust and user-friendly solutions.
  • Specialize in seamless integration of various technologies to ensure cohesive application development.
  • Ability to adapt to agile methodologies, quick self-learner.
• Database management:
  • Demonstrate profound understanding of relational databases.
  • Build and manage well-functioning databases.
  • Implement design principles for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Testing and Troubleshooting:
  • Ensure software responsiveness and efficiency.
  • Debug and fix production issues
• Ownership and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and create scalable software solutions.
  • Develop oneself into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Technical & Domain areas.
  • A self-starter with excellent organizational, time and relationship management skills.
  • Able to lead projects with minimal guidance and should show complete ownership of deliverables.
• Delivery and Documentation:
  • Familiar with CI/CD practice and tools.
  • Deliver high quality deliverables with proper testing requirements.
  • Able to review existing processes/procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare technical and functional documents as appropriate.

 Skills & Knowledge

Qualification & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience
• Senior developer with 8-12 years of experience in Application Development/Support
• As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining  scalable and high-performance application

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• 8-12 years of experience in  technology and/or data functions in financial services or consulting industry.
• Hands on experience with establishing data strategies and data transformation implementations with in a fast paced ,dynamically growing sector in the industry.
• Hands on development in Python, PL/SQL, SQL, Shell Scripting.
• Hands on experience working in cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift, Spark based data engineering solutions.
• Demonstrate experience in CI/CD tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.
• Working experience in all the phases of the project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required to liaise with the business, developers, QA, and operations

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience in Java.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery and Angular 1.x)
