Data Analyst

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our FP&A Team.

 

In this busy and exciting role your main focus will be co-ordinating and standardising the collation, processing and reporting of data - to support the Central Technical function and wider FP&A team reporting processes.

 

Providing guidance and support for site stakeholders to ensure data and reporting is consistent and continually improved, will also be high on your agenda.

 

Accountabilities

 

Data collection

 

  • Ensuring business data required for reporting purposes is collected, consolidated and reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Undertaking data checks to ensure robustness whilst liaising with sites to understand and correct variances

 

Data Reporting

 

  • Co-ordinating to ensure all relevant inputs are collated, processed and reviewed with other functional stakeholders to safeguard consistent and timely reporting

 

Relationships and Teamwork

 

  • Developing effective cross functional relationships to enable reporting requirements
  • Challenging where information is inconsistent and feeding back outcome, so all data sets are aligned

 

Maintenance of Standard operating processes (SOP)

 

  • Maintaining and improving the central SOP for data consolidation and reporting processes
  • Providing support for site stakeholders to improve source data accuracy and consistency

 

Performance Reporting

 

  • Ensuring robust verification of governance / performance reporting
  • Reporting in line with pre agreed timetables to allow Managers allocated time to review pre submission

 

People Management

 

  • Day to day management of small data team.

 

About you

 

Ideally, you will be deadline focused, articulate and highly organised with good timekeeping skills.

 

Proficiency using MS products (Excel, Word and Outlook) and excellent attention to detail will be key, as will the ability to work comfortably with multiple priorities across multiple stakeholders.

 

If you have a can-do attitude, good influencing skills, an analytical mindset and a passion for service delivery - this could be the perfect role for you.

 

Team leader experience, e.g., organising and managing team deadlines, appraisals etc is required.
