Engineer* Artificial Intelligence (f/m/d)

As an engineer* in the field of artificial intelligence, you will play a key role in implementing state-of-the-art AI technologies in our company and will be jointly responsible for ensuring that we can interact intelligently with our customers and employees. Thanks to your expertise, we will responsibly and efficiently unlock the full potential of AI and pursue a sustainable and holistic AI strategy. With this role, you are at the beginning of an exciting journey as a pioneer of a new innovation team in IT and have a lot of freedom to make your own decisions.

YOUR TASKS:

• Together with our data scientists and engineers, you will work on exciting AI use cases and help to quickly pick up on current technological developments, evaluate them and put them to good use
• From proof of concept to the production rollout of AI-based services, you will actively support the efficient, solution-oriented and successful implementation of our cross-domain projects
• You will help build a powerful and modern AI and data infrastructure and promote a culture of FAIR data, open source and agile XOps
• You keep a close eye on current trends and technologies in the AI environment
• By actively passing on your knowledge and experience, you will help us to continuously strengthen and expand AI expertise within the company

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics, data science or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience and excellent knowledge and a comprehensive overview of existing AI technologies, frameworks and models
• You have practical experience in the field of generative AI and are adept at working with current language models and embedding technologies
• You have in-depth knowledge of software development and the technologies and programming languages used in the field of AI
• You are aware that the development of AI solutions goes far beyond the simple compilation of scripts and notebooks
• You have a basic understanding of data science topics and can distinguish between symbolic and sub-symbolic approaches in AI
• You are characterized by an extraordinarily high degree of initiative and curiosity and pursue an independent, systematic and solution-oriented way of working
• You enjoy learning and have an intrinsic interest in new technologies and developments
