What will you be doing?
The Liquid Data Production Specialist role is responsible for attaining high levels of client satisfaction by successfully managing weekly Liquid Data production in accordance with the international weekly production cycle. You will also be responsible for ensuring the successful setup of new Liquid Data clients by conducting thorough data validations in order to sign off on client access & data trends. You will partner cross-functionally and directly with internal CIRCANA South Africa stakeholders as well as with global production & support teams to understand/implement production and new client setup best practices and to feedback progress on production and project tasks/risks. The work involves strong attention to detail, solid analytics skills, a planning focus and active communication with stakeholders locally and internationally in order to execute on all contracted deliverables on time and to the quality standard as defined in the client contracts. You will be responsible for continually improving local production processes and standards to deliver improved quality and timely deliverables. The Liquid Data Production Specialist will need to demonstrate that you have excellent problem-solving abilities in order to deal with unique data discrepancy scenarios that require active investigation and management through to the solution
Job Responsibilities
q Manage the end-to-end weekly Liquid Data production process including the creation of dimension extracts, submission of request/exception tasks and conducting of weekly structural and data validation checks so as to deliver on time and accurately.
q Investigate data discrepancies and if required enlist the assistance of global support teams via the creation of detailed service support requests.
q Attend and be an active participant of international production touch base meetings.
q Manage the Liquid Data new client access process via testing, checking and updating of client entitlements tables as per client signoffs.
q Manage client entitlement tables for existing clients by running monthly retailer signoff comparison checks and updating the relevant access as required.
q Lead the end-to-end client change request process including working with the global support teams to schedule international modeler availability, adjust model specification documents and validate and sign off on changes prior to being released to client.
q Coordinate and manage Liquid Data retailer restatements with the local SQL BI and Data Integration teams including the assessment and validation of the correctness of these historical data changes.
q Design, update and manage the KPI tracking of Liquid Data production clients.
q Learn, adopt and utilize the global CIRCANA proprietary software & tools to assist with the production process.
q Partner with the PMO, BA, Product & Operations teams on implementations and change requests and act as a SPOC for Liquid Data production.
q Partner globally to adopt and contribute to best practices.
Requirements
q Tertiary Education and ideally with statistical and/or data analytics qualifications
q Experience in managing & coordinating business processes.
q Experience in validating data and/or analytical models/databases.
q An understanding of CIRCANA South Africa’s core business, systems and processes is desirable.
q Strong verbal communication skills required.
q Strong Microsoft Excel skills would be desirable.
