Research Engineer II (Flight Test)

The eVTOL Research and Innovation Centre at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is looking for a Research Engineer II in the area of Flight Testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• To prepare flight test plan

• To build experimental test models

• To conduct flight test and assess flying qualities.

• To prepare flight test report

• To provide engineering solutions

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Aeronautical engineering, aerospace Engineering, or related field.

• Have at least 100 hours of piloting experience in flying real airplanes.

• Have at least 500 hours experience in flying radio control model airplanes, quadcopters and also model helicopters.

• Have pilots operating license for larger than 7 kg models.

• Have at least one year or more experience in conducting flight test and familiar with Coopers-Harpers handling assessment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can present results in clear manner.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Fluent English skill is a must.
