Title: Staff Data Analyst
Location: Remote - India
Role Description:
As a Staff Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing insights and recommendations to optimize our supply chain operations. You will use your expertise in data research and visualization to deliver efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by leveraging data to make data-informed conclusions and recommendations. An ideal candidate will demonstrate solid ownership over their own projects and be able to work with senior leaders within the company as needed.
What you’ll do:
- Investigate large datasets using statistical techniques, tools, and data mining methodologies.
- Develop and implement data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Build and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define metrics for data research projects.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and optimizations based on data insights.
- Conduct ad-hoc research to support strategic initiatives and actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain analytics.
- Other duties/responsibilities as necessary.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data modeling, and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
- Advanced knowledge of Python
- Solid systematic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on your own and in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain management concepts and processes is a plus.
