Responsibilities:

PJT Partners is seeking to hire an Analyst to join the Management/COO team, with a focus on data, to support the operations, growth and strategy of PJT Partners and the Strategic Advisory business. The global business management team is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives, business operations, business development, reporting & analysis and business data management. This role will work closely with Firm Management and Strategic Advisory and provide an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact and dynamic team.

Responsibilities include:

• Stewardship over the quality of business data collected, inputted and stored in the various systems that support both current business operations and business development
• Help develop processes and governance to improve data quality, structure and data interaction
• Run numerous approval processes that provide control and oversight of various client, project and resource data
• Work closely with Firm Management and Strategic Advisory leadership on strategic and tactical projects to advance pipeline management, business operations management, business analytics and business development
• Partner with various corporate teams that support business data and operations including Technology, Finance, FP&A, HR, Legal and Compliance.
• Produce both quantitative and qualitative reporting and ad hoc business analysis
• Develop a deep understanding of PJT Partners’ business operations and the Strategic Advisory business

Qualifications:

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant work, internship or school project experience
• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organization, time and deadline management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate with others as well as work independently and self-motivate
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in writing
• Comfort working and communicating with professionals at all levels
• Strong judgement, discretion and ability to be proactive and show initiative
• Comfort handling highly confidential information
• High level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Excel skills should include use of formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with Anaplan an advantage

Expected annualized base salary of $65,000 to $85,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners’ compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners’ compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives, and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
