Software Engineer, Data and Analytics Platform, Pixel

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience collaborating with various teams such as developers, test engineers, and product management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience, with 2 years of experience in tools development, SQL, big data, database design, and development, CI/CD test automation, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Experience developing back-end services or full-stack applications.
- Experience developing infrastructure and tools to streamline and scale operational workflow.
- Experience applying AI/ML in automation or data analytics use cases.
- Knowledge in data warehouse, data lake, or other similar data reporting infrastructure that organizes structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to navigate technical and product issues, and work in a fast-paced time sensitive environment.

This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop platform and application features used by developers, test engineers, and management teams to streamline the test automation in security, privacy, stability areas across teams, and Product Areas.
- Design and develop data platform infrastructure to support test quality metrics and performance related analytics use cases.
- Build tools to improve developer's and test engineer's experience and productivity. Leverage Machine Learning techniques to scale test automation and improve test effectiveness.
- Support and build up-streamed engineering test of a broad set of Pixel features.
- Work with developers, test teams, and other teams in identifying issues with production quality and coverage, and provide solutions for improvement through development, test practices, and processes.
