Cloud Data Engineer, Global Services Delivery, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with data processing software (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Beam, Hive) and strategies (e.g., ETL, ELT, CDC).
- Experience coding in one or more programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript.
- Experience managing client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues, working with Engineering, Sales, Services, and customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with data warehouses, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components and reporting/analytic tools and environments.
- Experience in technical consulting.
- Experience working with Big Data, information retrieval, data mining, or machine learning.
- Experience in building multi-tier high availability applications with modern web technologies (e.g., NoSQL, Kubernetes, Serverless).

Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Big Data issues.
- Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the implementation of large data systems on Google Cloud.
- Communicate via video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
- Travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
