YOUR ROLE

As the Manager of Data Visualization, your role will be pivotal in spearheading the adoption and utilization of Tableau throughout our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include managing our Tableau environment, providing support to Tableau users, and nurturing a vibrant community of data visualization enthusiasts. Additionally, you will lead the migration of our data visualization tools to the cloud, identifying opportunities to enhance our visualization capabilities along the way. Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data visualization will be crucial, driving continuous improvement and innovation within our team. 

You’ll also contribute to the development, evolution, and execution of our Data Visualization strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Furthermore, you will develop and implement strategies to effectively operationalize critical group-wide/enterprise data platforms and systems for IAG. 

Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the team's performance and achieving broader success by leveraging your capabilities, skills, and development goals.

This position is permanent, and you can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
 

ABOUT YOU 

•    Demonstrated expertise in data visualization, particularly with a proficiency in Tableau.
•    Proven track record in effectively managing Tableau environments as a Product Owner
•    Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing and collaborating seamlessly across diverse teams.
•    Strong self-initiative to propel initiatives independently, coupled with proficient leadership skills to guide teams effectively.
•    Experience in cultivating team capabilities and optimizing performance to achieve organizational objectives.
•    Proficiency in identifying and managing risks, implementing robust risk controls to mitigate potential issues effectively.
•    Familiarity or exposure to cloud services, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is advantageous.
