With our rapidly growing customer base and project portfolio, we are expanding our team of implementation experts who drive delivery of projects for our customers. The Customer Operations and Services group works closely with internal and external customer teams to deploy Biofourmis solutions and maximize the value derived by our customers. Within the Customer Operations and Services group, the Customer Reporting team plays a key client-facing role and works in close collaboration with Customer Success and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality reports, analytics, and data visualizations to internal and external client end-users.

We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst with experience in organizing and presenting data for both internal and external users. The individual should demonstrate client-focused solutioning and basic understanding of project and program management concepts. The individual will be responsible for collating data from various sources, normalizing and cleaning data, building targeted reports to support internal and external end users, and contributing to the continuous improvement and automation of these tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer reporting requests, reporting plan, and communication
  • Work with business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the organization
  • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of product, customer, and operational business needs
  • Participate in customer reporting strategy design
  • Plan and execute on internal initiatives for improving reporting efficiencies
  • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points
  • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve inconsistencies or errors
  • Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis
  • Work with the logistics and technical support teams to facilitate inventory management and data mining
  • Collaborate with finance and accounts receivable in the analysis of operational datasets for billing purposes
  • Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
  • Identify opportunities and facilitate the design and implementation of automation in reporting and analytics
  • Create and update reporting requirement documentation templates
  • Guide clients through configuration options and requirement documentation
  • Advise on prospective client proposals as it relates to reporting and analytics capabilities
  • Review customer contracts for terms and obligations that need to be met or supported by reporting
  • Provide knowledge sharing of the capabilities and usage of reports, visualizations, and analytics
  • Draft and execute test plans and procedures

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business or report analyst 
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and data analysis programs
  • Expertise in using Tableau or other visualization tools
  • Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers 
  • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions 
  • Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results 
  • General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow
  • Preferred experience: healthcare data analysis experience
