PURPOSE
 

• In charge of designing Enterprise Data Architecture with consideration for transverse challenges.
• In charge of designing, building, and applying Data Architecture standards.
• In charge of supporting business stakeholders for the identification of their needs, the proposal of related actions and the execution of the respective plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS

• Support govern and contribute to a fully integrated and aligned Data Strategy across the SBM organization.
• Represent the Design Authority for any changes impacting the any Data Modelling
• Design the changes in data modelling solution that meets the needs of the organization, while also adhering to industry best practices and standards
• Develop and maintain the organization's enterprise data architecture, including data standards, policies, and procedures.
• Design and implement conceptual, logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and other relevant artifacts that describe data structures, relationships, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and other technical teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, use cases, and data sources.
• Work with data governance officers, data engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective integration, transformation, storage, and retrieval of data across various systems and platforms.
• Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data lineage documentation to track data sources, transformations, and usage.
• Ensure that data models are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory and privacy requirements.
• Develop and maintain data quality standards, data validation rules, and data profiling techniques to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
• Develop and maintain data standards, and procedures to ensure that data assets are managed and used in accordance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve data architecture and modeling practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as ERP Solution architect and /or responsible of ERP implementations
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (IFS is preferred), and their implementation, including modules such as finance, supply chain, Asset Management and HSSEQ
• Knowledge of decentralized ERP architecture with replication mechanism
• Strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
• Knowledge of Scrum Agile methodologies is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication, and collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English.
