We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible for our data collection platform. In that role, you will drive the data collection platform development to ensure that we have the tools needed to build a reliable database of environmental indicators and identify opportunities for automation. 

You will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and the Tech Lead in charge of the squad, as well as data strategy, data science, and the engineering team. You’ll be at the core of our data collection program and enable new ways to provide value to our customers by ensuring we can source the data we need.

On an average day, you will join a daily standup meeting with the squad, conduct user research and monitor the platform, define and prioritize product requirements, work on the roadmap, pair with an engineer on implementation and validate the quality of a feature before moving it to production.

Key Responsibilities

Working as a Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

    • Understanding Needs: Gather needs from users and stakeholders and translate them into actionable insights for the development team to enhance and evolve the product.
    • Feature definition: You will refine features with the squad and write user stories and use cases for new features or enhancements in the product. You will also support the documentation of product release notes for internal and external communication.
    • Prioritization: Work closely with the stakeholders and tech team to prioritize features based on user feedback, analysis, and business goals.
    • Reporting and data analysis: You will report on various product success KPIs and ensure commitment to the product roadmap. You will perform recurrent analysis on the usage of the product and extract key insights for the improvement of the product
    • Objectives and key results: You will help the squad to define the OKRs and track the evolution to identify potential deviations and contribute to the definition of alternatives
    • Market intelligence: You will take part in analyzing the competitor landscape and staying up to date on data and market trends in the social impact and financial investment area

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of software development processes, APIs, and integration mechanisms and methodologies. Skilled in data analysis and data understanding. Familiarity with SQL, Python and AWS Quicksight is a plus
  • Product Management Skills: Familiarity with product management principles, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and roadmap development is definitely a huge plus! Previous experience with product management tools like Jira or Confluence is also beneficial.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, market trends, and user feedback to make informed decisions and drive product improvements.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate product vision, and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to identify integration challenges, propose innovative solutions, and make trade-off decisions when necessary.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding of customer needs and the ability to advocate for the customer throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, and willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
