Business Intelligence Analyst (f/m/d)

As a BI Analyst you will join a team of highly committed developers and data engineers, further developing our tracking platform justtrack by bringing in a lot of own ideas.

At justtrack, we build a SaaS business that provides app and game publishers an attractive toolset to handle their entire global marketing growth process. Starting from managing, analysing, and automating marketing processes justtrack enables gathering deep mobile product insights.

Joining the Core Team, you will have access to state of the art technology and work closely with all business stakeholders to implement new approaches on how to leverage our data assets with new algorithms and ideas. Our team’s mission is to effortlessly gather, aggregate, and instantly provide all in-app event and marketing data to developers and marketers. Your exploratory data analysis will help us make the data speak by transforming recurring analyses into metrics and alerts.

We update our analytics tech stack frequently to adjust to our platform growth. Therefore, we offer plenty of opportunities to learn. Knowledge exchange is fostered by regular workshops.

How the optimal candidate will look like:

• You have excellent analytical skills
• You’re interested in big data and have outstanding experience in SQL
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of cloud based data warehouse technologies
• Experience with data visualization & BI tools like Tableau and Redash
• You have an entrepreneurial and hacker mindset, when there is a tough problem it motivates you to drill deeper
• You easily switch between move-fast- and no-margin-for-error-modes
• You are able to dive deep into math and explain complex topics in an easy way
• Willing to further expand your skills into data science

Key responsibilities:

• Be the primary point of contact for internal data & analysis requests
• You extract knowledge and actionable insights from noisy, structured and unstructured data
• You perform exploratory data analysis to determine correlations and trends
• Hand in hand with our developers you transform recurring analyses into metrics, charts, business related messages and the underlying data storage and pipelines
• You drill into data from various sources (Redshift, Spark, SQL, Athena, S3, Druid event streams, AWS data pipeline)
