Data Architect

Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Data Architect to join our highly skilled and dynamic team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Leamington Spa.

As our Data Architect you will enable the company’s use of data as a strategic and operational enabler of corporate goals and objectives. You will achieve this by strategically designing, developing, and implementing data models for enterprise-level applications and systems. These models shall be architected at the following layers: conceptual, logical, business area, and application. You will act as the primary advocate of data modelling methodologies and data processing and integration best practices.

We would like you to:

• Develop and implement key components as needed to create testing criteria to guarantee the fidelity and performance of data architecture
• Document the data architecture and environment to maintain a current and accurate view of all data held by the organisation
• Conduct data capacity planning, life cycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks
• Create strategies and plans for data security, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving
• Ensure that data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance
• Oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, integrations, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring trust in data

We would like you to have:

• Hands-on experience implementing data architecture and structures from gathering business requirements to technical implementation
• Experience with on-prem and cloud database platforms, including SQL, Oracle and Azure/AWS
• Understanding of Web services (SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL)
• Hands-on experience implementing modern data structures/databases e.g. key-value stores
• Working technical knowledge of applications and platforms, including Azure, AWS, SAP & Salesforce
• Good understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices
