JD :

Work with the business/data architect to understand requirements for the database design and model
2. Understand the data needs of the client
3. Collaborate with the development team to design and build the database model
4. Engage the development team to implement the database
5. Determine the business needs for data reporting requirements
6. Adjust access to the data and the reports as needed
7. Work closely with the development team to implement data warehouse and reporting
8. Understand the company’s data migration needs
9. Work with the development team to implement the migration
10. Work with data scientists to determine metadata querying requirements
11. Help to implement the querying
12. Help determine and manage data cleaning requirements
13. Help determine data security needs and implement security solutions
14. Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture computer systems, including SQL
15. Knowledge of ER modelling, enterprise data, and physical data models
16. Familiarity with data modelling software such as SqlDBM, Microsoft Visio, or erwin Data Modeler
17. Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
18. Strong attention to detail
19. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
